'Data center capital' of the Midwest, Elk Grove Village, expands

Elk Grove Village, Illinois is expanding its data center footprint as the 'data center capital' of the Midwest continues to grow, even as Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker is calling for regulation to curb data center expansion during the fall veto session. The suburb is moving in the opposite direction from the governor's proposed restrictions.
